The answer is yes, JMRI, CTI-Electronics and Railroad & CO to name three. And there are more.

  I don't know the answer, but I'd have to guess, knowing JMRI, that it's probably possible.

I am wondering if there is a computer based product that will allow a DCC layout to dispatch a train from point A to point B based on time events.
