While I'm not a Digitrax user. I have thought of doing the same for my NCE power cab that hangs out at my workbench. I've been known to leave it powered up for a few days. I've also worn out the Telco connector plugging it in and out.

nice job! Some years ago I did a similar project. I came across a video by James (jm2000, or something close to that, who has a huge YouTube presence) who produced a very easy to follow procedure. 30-45 minutes later it was done.

I saw that video as well, but I didn't have a small enough toggle switch like he had. This whole thing took 20 - 30 minutes per throttle.
I should have done this years ago.
Nice job, looks clean and puposely done. My DT402 died last year and I replaced it with a DT602. FYI, I found these toggles for a different project, but seem like they would work, for a cheaper price per unit.
