Digitrax DCS51 to UP5

This unit has two conections on the back to track, is it alright to daisy chain off both in oposite directions, I know it works but it is not in the manual unless I missed it and don't want issues down the line.

Since you're talking about UP5 panels, I assume you're talking Loconet cables coming from the sockets in the back of the DCS51 and not the track power output on the screw block that plugs into the back.

Yes it is perfectly fine to go out either Loconet port (or both) to one or more UP5s or other Loconet devices down the line. You basically daisy-chain the devices down each line.

Just keep the cables that come out of the Loconet ports as separate branches that don't loop back into each other. You can branch off of those too, but never make a loop out of Loconet cables and devices.

Thanks, can you also branch out two ways from a UP5, got a place where the line comes in and daisy chains out but would like to run a line out the back for an infrared panel up on the wall, and maybe one day switch it out to radio.
