Best regards, Mark <div style="clear:both;"> </div> [/quote] Your question will be best directed to the expert opinions in the openLCB yahoo users group and the LCC yahoo users group.  You can also check out the Portland NMRA convention clinic lists and read through the PDFs for the LCC presentations.  They will likely leave you with more questions, but you will gain somewhat of an understanding of how it works.  I am currently in progress of working out a signaling/block detection/implementation of LCC standard for my model railroad club.
