Recently installed Tsu pnp and I want to disable autostart! I believe CV 114 is the CV and as a default it is set to 32 (being in bit location 5) , do I set CV 114 to 0 to turn it off ? I'm getting conflicking info between the tsunami users manual and the diesel technical guide!
Also I want to turn on the number board lights which I have hooked up to terminal FX4 on the board but found I need a 3.3K ohm resistor instead of the 1K ohm resistor as required for the rest of the lights! What CV ? to what setting?
Hi, why not just try setting CV 114 to various CVs until one works? Just write down the default setting to revert back to if the desired output isnt preferred.
As far as resistors go, I dont believe Tsunami decoders have a CV to program to change resistance(or voltage output). You'll just have to swap out the resistor for another one.
3.3k ohm is very high for an LED light bulb. Technically, you only need 470 ohms for an LED. Unless you find it too bright, there's little reason a 1k shouldnt work fine.

Bit 5 is a value of 32. What is the value currently in CV114? Put that value in Windows Calculator set to Programmer mode and look at the bionary. If Bit 5 (the 6th one fromt he right) is a 1, then subtract 32 from the current value to turn the option off. If Bit 5 is a 0, add 32 to the current value to get the new value for CV114 to turn it on. This is how yuou change just Bit 5 without adjusting any other setting.
