I own 5 Mantua 2-6-6-2 locos and need to find the dogbone connectors for the drive shaft. I had no luck on the internet and called NWSL and they don't carry them. I'm about ready to five up.

make them out of styrene tubing, easy to do ....

Sounds like it was upgraded at some point, could go back to tubing or I have seen them many times on e-bay but I think they are called something else.
Called a u joint connector, 4 on ebay right now from NWSL.
It's a Mantua srticulated 2-6-6-2 w/tender, 345 series. The rear axle has a tube connected to the motor but the front is a dogbone shaped connector.
I went to eBay just now found nothing described as a u joint connector from NWSL.
I'll look for tubing if I can find the right size.

i had to use ebay.com rather than the one i normally use [ebay,ca] to get it to show up .... it seems the seller only ships to the us, if it matters ..??
Yeah, they probably won't ship to you in Canada. Sounds like there are no sellers on eBay in Canada at the moment for that particular item. Might check directly with NWSL. Or perhaps one of the Canadian online sellers deals with NWSL and can order it for you.

The tube has to fit over the spinning shaft which is about 4.5mm on one side and 6.35 on the other.
That's the exact one I bought from NWSL hoping it would fit. They were too small
