I have a Prodigy Advance but not wireless, what is Scout form?Mel My Model Railroad http://melvineperry.blogspot.com/ Bakersfield, California I'm beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.
Sorry. Good evening.
Mel, I am brasilian and, in the Brasil, scout walking it means a loco running isolated.
My Prodigy does a reset when the power plug is removed from the wall outlet so that isn’t your problem. You mentioned “one of my cable handheld” do you have a handheld that works correctly?Mel My Model Railroad http://melvineperry.blogspot.com/ Bakersfield, California I'm beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.
Mel, yes.
I have four wireless handheld and four cable handheld. but only one cable handheld keep that loco's number, same I turn of DCC on the outlet. When I reconnect DCC wall outlet, cable handheld it keeps that same number.
Apparently it’s defective, if it’s still under warranty send it back to MRC if not you’ll have a bad handheld. If you need the fourth controller check with MRC to see what the cost of replacement is. There may be some sort of system and/or cab reset, but undocumented in typical MRC fashion. Perhaps support can provide help.

Randy is correct, try emailing MRC support, I’m sure a phone call from Brazil would cost about the same as a new handheld.MRC support has always been very good for me over the years.
Might pay off very good if they help fix yours and your friends. Mel My Model Railroad http://melvineperry.blogspot.com/ Bakersfield, California I'm beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.
