Does anyone know the default pwm frequency of a Deltang train controller? I'm basically trying to understand if it is in the 640hz range, or something ultrasonic (~16kHz range). Thank you.
Depends on which one you have. I went to their web site and looked at the details for a couple of the receivers and they say the default is 16KHz. For the current product line.

Thanks. I'm not sure if my friends decoder is a new one or not - but that's good info.
I believe 'default' is 16kHz to 12kHz -- some of them may have an autosense feature to determine what to use.
Some designs are programmable (e.g. M_PWM) with choices like 16kHz, 2kHz, 500Hz and 120Hz selectable with integer values analogous to CV settings.
