Mail sent today to BLI people: "The last year sou sold me a PRR P5a Boxcab Electric locomotive, and the receiver for the Paragon3 system: really all OK, and was very happy with the loco and the system, new for me. Now, in january, you sent me a GE ES44AC Paragon3, that I´ve just opened yesterday. There is a problem: the other loco, the P5a, sends the signal to all my layout, without fading.  With the GE, instead, the receiver takes like a minute to detect it, and the signal remain linked up to 3 or 4 feet from the receiver; after that, fades out, until the engine is close to the receiver again, and so on. I test the system putting the previous loco P5A at work, and this remain fine, at any distance from the receiver. I read the manual of the receiver, but really I´m not able to fix the problem. I reseted the loco and the receiver, without success. Maybe you, Joe, or your crew, can help me about this topic. Well, Joe my greetings to you, and please, I hope your help.  There may be a CV that controls the Rolling Thunder. The short range operation would be useful if you had  more than oen receiver and subwoofer since it only can link one loco at a time.

 Looking in the manual, it seems CV213 is the one. It should be 128 for maximum transmit power. Unless you are on the 868MHz frequency, then it should be 0. Check the good loco. Set the new one the same.
