F14 function on Prodigy Express
Posted by trnj on Friday, November 22, 2019 9:33 AM

I want to disable the start-up function on my H12-44 in which I have a Loksound 4.0 decoder installed but my Prodigy Express has no "F14" button.  Is there a way around this?  BTW, the sound and the decoder works great!  I also replaced the motor in the Walthers model which had an issue.  Great running loco now.  Right now, I start the engine initially by running it at slow speed and then pushing F8, which brings the engine on instantly.

Prodigy Express has F0-F15, the instructions are not very good but it is addressed in the MRC Prodigy Express manual.

Thank you for the info but my Prodigy Express handheld only goes up to F13.  The manual includes info on the other handhelds as well.
