LED Lighting question

I’m having trouble getting my LED’s To dim. The manufacturer says they are dimmabl but I don’t think I have the correct components. 

Anyone using (5,000k) LED’s to light your layout wirh the capability of dimming to off please let me know how you’re set up and the products you’re using.

The dimmer Is plugged into the 110v outlet then the power Supply into the dimmer and then the LED’s into the power suppl.

 That's niot the right sort of dimmer for LEDs like that. For LED strips, the dimmer module is a device that goes between the power supply and the LEDs.

 Can't do anythign about that using that sort of LED strip, or look for a different dimmer with more than 6 amp capacity. It's one dimmer per LED strip, they can't handle more.
