JST Connectors on QSI Decoder
Posted by RicZ on Monday, November 26, 2018 9:25 AM

Help! I am updating a DC Proto RS-27 to DCC.  I obtained the OEM QSI decoder from Walthers.  The decoder has plugs for the sound, motor, rail power, and lites.  There are two 2-pin, and one each 4 & 6-pin connectors mounted on the board which accept female connectors, similar to those available from Micro Mart.  I have the two 2-pin plugs, but I have been unable to determine the right plugs for the other two.

Can anyone tell what the size and specific type these two connectors are called.  DigiKey has connectors available, about 2500 types, but I need the type/size to order.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I believe the size of the JST connectors are ZH, 1.5mm pin spacing (pitch).  Check out their web site for the amount of pins you need.

I buy them off eBay with wires in both 2 and 9 pin.

EDIT:

Incase you can't find the PDF I posted it on my Google Drive.
