Can anyone tell me what the 4 Aux Outputs are for Lighting?
Are there Solder Tabs on the Select Micro Decoder?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
There is the Select Micro and the Select Direct Micro. The Direct has soldering pads. The micro has places to attach the power pack (their version of the current keeper). Looks like delicate soldering to me, but maybe someone with real experience can tell us.
The Aux are for ditch lights, mars lights, strobe lights. No idea how you would use all 4 at once.

The "Direct" series also replaces the light board for some manufacturer's locomotives and makes for a cleaner install - especially where space is at a premium.

The Select Micro decoder comes with wires pre-attached to the decoder for attaching your external functions to.
The Atlas syle board called the Select direct is a mother board with a select micro decoder attached to it using an 18-plux socket. The auxiliary functions are wired to the mother board instead of the decoder itself.

Hi Mark,
So I assume that the following are the 4 Aux Funtions.
Pin # 2 Yellow Wire - Rear Light
Pin # 3 Green Wire - Aux # 1 Open For Use
Pin # 6 White Wire - Front Light
Violet Wire - Aux 2 # Open For Use
Are these the Only ( 4 ) Aux Outputs on this Select Micro Decoder?
Are there any other Aux Outputs on the Board - Like Solder Pads?

Herb Quick
Herb - Your assumptions are correct. There are only four line level outputs on the Select Micro. There are, however, two additional logic level outputs, but they would need an external amplification transistor on each for them to actually be useable as line level.
