I purchased some Peco Electro-frog Turnouts. I also got a frog juicer. The instructions say I no longer have to isolate the frog, simply use insulated rail joiners. should I go ahead and cut the jumpers between the frog and the closure rails still? Should I add jumpers to the stock rails and the closure rails still?
Should I just snip it and replace the wire that drops from the frog andreplace it with an insulated feeder wire? Or, connect it to my feeder wire and off to the Juicer? Its uninsulated, that is my concern.
THank you for anyhelp. I was planning on upgrading the Peco switches, then I got my juicer and it said I just needed to use insulated joiners. Now, I am confused. I of course still want to have the best performance on my switch tracks as I am running small diesel switching power.

You could use shrink tubing or liquid electrical tape. If you are lucky enough to have a Micro Center computer store near you, they sell small heat shrink.
People are going to tell you they modify electrofrog turnouts or they don't. Steve Otte has the best rationale for why you should consider modifying them, about 1/2 way down.
