ESU Cabcontrol Programming?
Posted by blabride on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 10:33 AM

Does anyone know if the new Cabcontrol system like the 50310 will allow POM of CV's? Looking at the manual its a bit confusing. It discusses programming but it is not clear weather its is just on the Programming track or if it can be done on the main.

Thanks

SB

Don't see why not, there's not a system out any more that doesn't do POM.

At this time it doesn't allow POM. They said they are looking to add the feature in the future. Should have did it to begin with.

Well that's kind of disappointing. I suspect the new TCS system will have the same problem - their throttle claims to be completely WiThrottle compatible so you can use it with any system, not just their new command station, and since WiThrottle doesn't do POM...

Though TCS says the first system with wifi throttles - umm, ESU is shipping theirs, think they got their first.

That is kind of what the instructions hinted at I just wanted to be sure. I am needing to add a few more amps to my digitrax system and it looked interesting. Especially havig a complete roster by name of your locos at you fingertips. I need to look at the new Digitrax EVO stuff.

Thanks
