I just completed my layout with 3 mains, all with switches and crossovers. Haven't run the locos in almost 4 months or turned on my NCE 5 amp booster system either. All the locos have sound & I can sound their horn and bells but some will not move. I've had two moving while the other 2 wont move.

Short or do they need to be reprogrammed? Seems to be my Atherns and Inter Mountain locos.

Did you have any of them consisted before you took the time off?  First thing I'd do is check to be sure that CV19 is zero on all the locos.

Hope that works for you. If not, sometimes when decoders sit that long, a reset helps, and a reset of the command station won't hurt either. After a move, my dcc system and locos sat for almost 6 months before I could run them again. One loco lost it's mind, a factory rest and reprogramming brought it back.
