so I got a Kato SD90/43MAC and im trying to install a SoundTraxx Tsunami Sound 2 and I am having trouble with installing it. I also dont know what speaker to use. Any one have tips?

Other than the speaker, exactly what problems are you having? Be specific.
This is what SoundTraxx suggest for speaker. 810113 35 x 16mm Oval Speaker. Is this your speaker?
I have done SoundTraxx installs and SoundTraxx instructions were very clear. The decoder selector told me which decoder and speaker from their list.
I just Googled Kato SD90/43MAC Tsunami and found suggestions and a video.

I would recommend using a rail master hobby speaker; the largest one that will fit. This will require measurement on your part. If you have a hobby shop to go to they maybe able to provide more immediate assistance. As far as having difficulty installing the decoder we would need more detailed information about what your difficulty is to be able to help you.

Call or email Soundtraxx and ask them and be sure to install the correct baffle for the speaker. Otherwise, you will not be able to achieve the proper volume.

Cody welcome to the forum. I looked at your youtube page and it's great to see young people in the hobby. I and many of us predate the lego craze and did not know there were lego railroads.
You did two things that most newbies don't, you told us which loco and which decoder. Usually we are left to guess what my loco doesn't work means.
If I can be honest, installation requires soldering skills which may be beyond you if you have never done it before. I tried to build a Heathkit short wave radio when I was your age, it came with a ton of parts and diagrams and my soldering weren't up to the task.
Soldering isn't brain surgery, but it does require practice. I would not recommend an expensive decoder installation as a first project. If your parents don't have any friends, neighbors, or relatives that like to dabble in electronics, get a plain piece of circuit board and some wire and practice your soldering. I'm sure others here can provide more specific advice as to solder, soldering iron selection.
