Hello All,
Yesterday i had the day off for my birthday so i went down in the train room to speed match my locos with a new accutrack speedometer. I got them all fine tuned to a scale where the speed steps are all the same scale speed. However when i went to consist my Athearn Genesis SD70MAC with my Bachman GP 40 i noticed that when changing speeds and starting the Genesis lags about a half second.
Both Locos have CVs 3 and 4 at 0.
Anyone know why the Genesis has a lag in response? (It seems to have always done this since i got the TCS wow sound installed)
Thanks

Spartan,
I was recently speed matching an Athearn Genesis F3 A-B unit that I had installed a TCS Wow! and AX4 into and noticed the same slighty delay in the A-unit - even with the momentum settings at zero for both decoders. I think it's a characteristic of the newer Wow! decoders.
The AX4 decoder in the B-unit has no delay at all. To speed match them I think I added a slight momentum to the B-unit to mimick the A-unit delay then consisted them together.
