Caution about Bachmann Sound Value decoder CVs documentation
Posted by RR Baron on Monday, May 1, 2017 12:04 PM

Currently some Sound Value decoder CVs documentation is accurate, some is not.  The Sound Value documentation of supported CVs and their default value on the Bachmann Industries webpage of the SoundTraxx website may have none, a few,  to multiple discrepancies compared to the factory installed decoder depending on the locomotive.

I have been following the Bachmann forums for some time and have seen a few discussions about this.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

Is there a fix/ conclusion?

How does the locomotive perform?

From what i see on the soundtrax website,  the decoder seems to be exactly like the one in the walthers p2k models.

They seem to work fine, i have 2 of them...
