BLI diesel: do I have to reset to run on DC?

Is there a reset on BLI diesels, to go from DCC to DC?  thank you

 If you bought it used, the previous owner may have set CV29 so it will only run on DCC. Out of the box, they should work on both.

If you bought it used, the previous owner may have set CV29 so it will only run on DCC.  

CV29 is multi-function, and DC operation has a value of 4. Here is the complete table of values for CV29.

Bit   Value      Function

0         0        All functions off

0         1        Reverse direction

1         2        28/128 speed steps

2         4        DC Operation

3         8        Railcom

4        16       Complex speed curve

5        32       Long Address

The values in CV29 are additive. For example, if you wish to use the long address and DC operation, then CV29=36. If you want to use the long address but disable DC operation, then CV29=32.
