BDL168 with AR1 wiring
Posted by Scouser on Saturday, February 4, 2017 6:49 PM

Does anyone have a clear wiring diagram for connecting the AR1 with a BDL168 for detection in the reversing loop? I only need the one detection section in the loop.

I'm using zone 4 for the reverse section but I'm a little confused on where to connect it all, and hep would be appreciated.

Each group of 4 detection sections on the BDL168 is a zone. An autoreverser has to go on the input side of the BDL168. That means all 4 outputs in that zone are part of the reverse section, even if you only need 1, you cannot use the others for anything outside the reverse loop.

second picture, the red and black wires on the left come from the output of the AR1.

Thanks Randy, I have that but unfortunately it's not clear which connections are correct on the AR1 side. There are 4 connections on the AR1 and although I think I have it correct, the block always shows as occupied which makes me think I have it wrong
