This last one is one that I think is oriented toward steam users. I don't have any diesel Tsunamis, so can't say whether it works the same or not with them.

The first two links to diesel Tsunami adjustments are likely a better choice for them. There are several ways to do this with steam ones, so if one doesn't work for you with diesel Tsunamis, try another.

I remembered that I have some printouts in a file so looked there for more info related to Tsunami BEMF adjustment.  I haven't digested it all but suggest you look through these also, for background as well as different procedures.  Then maybe try a preferred method, then maybe an alternate that sounds interesting.  I've not fooled with my Tsunamis lately, as I've mostly been converting new DC acquisitions to ESU LokSound DCC.  I need to look into those myself.  Anyway, i hope these additions are helpful.  We'd love to hear about what results you observe.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

All the links that you sent to me i've seen befor.I guess what i'm trying to get help with is i've followed all of the instructions to the letter.did a reset to default and turned off all cv that were not at zero after reset as per instructions , and started with cv209 and set it in increments all the way to 255 with no movement ,  with throttle set at ss1 ,  then by mistake I used cv210 and when i entered 10 into cv210 I got movement with cv209 at zero , after it was moving i fiddled with cv210 and cv209 but it wasn't any slower than default settings all the instruction that i've read say start with cv 209 but this didn't work .What gives ? Right now I've got all the default numbers back except fo cv10 which is at 126 , don't ask I don't know.all i'm wanting is some numbers that will slow the loco down at ss1.it works well , sounds good all i want is slower speed in ss1 with a smoth start and stop.
