Wow decoder in a MTH
Posted by Roadie on Monday, June 8, 2015 3:01 PM

Has anyone placed a Wow Sound Decoder into a MTH SD70ACE?  I just tried and the sound works great and the power, but no lights can't fiqure out the wiring. Also when I first turned on the power the small WAUX-CAP smoked like crazy but has not since. I think it was fried. any help on the wiring would help

thanks

If the loco has LED's, reverse the two wires going to the lights.

You can contact TCS via email also as far as the smoke issue goes.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
