I have the 5 amp powerpro system with radio. The antenna plugs into the front of the command station. If I string cables around the layout for tethered operation, does the antenna stay on the command station or can I plug it in to one of the cable stations?

Bruce,
My RB02 (I think that's the #) is hooked into the control bus. It can be anywhere along the bus, but needs to be in a high a location as possible to aid reception.
Are you saying your antenna plugs directly into the command station or that it's simply nearby, maybe the first stop on the control bus away from the command station? If the former, must be old school. Have you done the update from around '08?

When I converted my PH-Pro from tethered to wireless, I left the UTP panels in place, so my RB02 is connected to one of the UTP panels. For a while, I left the wireless base station and antenna on the edge of the layout, but I recently moved it up to the ceiling for better reception.
