Do I need gaps for a crossover made from two dead frog ME turnouts

In the past I've aways put electrical feeders on the points end of a turnout and insulating railjoiners on the frog end of a turnout.  I'm going to use Micro Engineering #6 turnouts with dead frogs for a crossover.  Do I need to gap the rails connecting the two turnouts?  I suspect not, but thought I would double check before gluing this thing down and then having to cut gaps the hard way.

There is no need for gapping on the ME turnout.

The Wiring for DCC web site has an excellent discussion on the ME turnout.  It is worth a read.
