Hi,
Is it possible to assign sounds properly with CV entries in LokSound 3.5?Someone by mistake re-programmed sounds in my model using loksound programming device.
Instead of Bell with F1 and Horn with F2 I have Horn with F1 and Bell with F2 function. I don't have the LokSound Programmer. I tried to find suitable settings in manual but I can't.
I would be grateful for values which I have to enter to CV to re-map these two sounds.
Someone has interchanged the values of CV 35 and CV 36. CV 35 should be 4, and CV 36 should be 8.

Yes, that should be the settings, they are in the 3.5 manual. Nice of Precision Craft to include the full manual (even if I do need a magnifier to read it - the downloadable PDF is MUCH bigger type on my computer screen). My 3.5 equipped T-1's came with a multi-chime passenger whistle on F2 and a freight single chime on F4 - well my models are not passenger versions, a quick perusal of the manual and I figured out out to swap the sound slot played for F2 witht he one for F4, so now the momentary F2 sounds the proper whistle.
3.5's will program properly with JMRI, they don't need any special support since they don't have all those indexed CVs. The lastest test version of JMRI seems to handle most of the function mapping on the V4 now. In neither case is a Lokprogrammer needed to swap function assignments. It's probably easier and faster for a V4 to use Lokprogrammer, but the 3.5 is pretty straightforward.

but there is nothing about CV 35 & 36. I guess it a short version.
That's the full manual. The CVs listed there are the ones to change (and read first, so you can see what sound slot is currently played for a given function key). Once you find which sound slot is set in the CVs that control F1 and F2, reprogram the same CVs but swap the sound slots. That's assuming the only thing wrong are the sounds - if you have flashing ditch lights that activate when the horn is sounded, that's probably also set to F1 along with the sound.
