Couple MRC Express questions
Posted by Missouri Pacific BNSF on Friday, November 14, 2014 10:57 PM

I have the mrc express dcc unit and everything is working great, but I have two questions...

First, I was given a mrc prodigy advanced squared handheld as a gift so my son and I can each have a handheld. I can't get the system to recognize it though, what am I doing wrong?  The express handheld works in both positions (I have an expansion box), but the prodigy advanced squared unit works in neither.

Second, is how do I do an old style consist with the prodigy express system (the instruction say you can have one)? I purchased two mth locomotives and they won't recognized an advanced consist with the prodigy express system.  I have other consists with intermountain locomotives and have no problems, but the mth consist is only recognizing the first unit and not the second one at all.

I would contact MRC tech department as I think with MRC the throttles are not compatible accross their different systems.  Joe

No the Express will not do Universal consisting. Now it would be possible with the Advance handheld given to you providing it is working. MRC systems along with all pooling systems must have different numbers for each handheld plugged into the system. This may be why it is not working.
