MTH - Proto Sound - Reset!!!

I've purchased an MTH 4-8-4 GS4 SP Daylight 4449 with Proto Sound but its failed and doesn't have sound any longer.

I use Digitrax DCC on my layout but have tried all ways to get it back.

I've emailed MTH without success. Can anyone help explain how i can get the sound back.

To reset this loco, put it on the main, then select loco 55 and program a value of 55 into CV55

Yep the manual has the instructions for resetting it back to factory defaults.
