LS150 switch controllers
Posted by DaveM on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 3:29 PM

I am all new to DCC setup.  I have two (2) LS150 switch contollers to hopefully handle my 10 Atlas snap turnouts (saving the other two outlets for later use on lights, etc).  I will be using a NCE Power Cab .  Just me with a small (30' x 50") table top N gauge layout.  My basic question is how to program the switch controllers for one controller to do turnouts 1-6 and the other doing turnouts 7-10.  Do I have to program one controller at a time, or can I do both at the same time?  Any help will be appreciated since again I am a novice at this DCC thing.

I would try posting this in the DCC forum.  Not being an NCE user, I can't help with your question.

I don't own any Lenz equipment.  I use the NCE units to control my Tortoises.

But I did find this link which may be helpful to you.

Hope this helps.

No, you can't program them at the same time, because you are programming them to different addresses.  If what you really mean is can you have them both hooked up when you program them, then yes you can. Do you have a copy of the manual? If not, here is a link to it.  I tells you step by step how to program the switch addresses (starting on page 12).
