I have shrink wrapped Tsunami and lightboard Tsunami. Mine do not have a caution light. Never saw anything in the instructions about a caution light.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

There is a caution indication based on 8 blinks of the headlight, at least on the factory installs on Blackstone locos. This indicates an onverload or overheat condition, IIRC.

Now, if you're looking at the Tsunami decoder with the shell off, you can see it has a red LED indicating good signal from the track. IIRC it's on no matter what the direction is. It can be seen through the shrink wrap. Maybe this is another thing that could be confused with a caution indication on the Tsunami?

That light is not a CAUTION light...it a forward direction light.   It is working as it should.

Been a few years since I worked with a Tsunami out of the shell. Seem to remember that. I figured the OP did not read the instructions and applied his own terminology. I see that every so often in DCC.
