i have two N Scale Bachmann Spectrum locos a SD-45 Conrail #6146 and a D8-40C NS #8654 they both say that they are dcc ready . my question is what decoder fits this engine ....... :( thanks all
Any small wired decoder will fit. Digitrax DZ125, NCE Z14SR, TCS Z2, ZIMO MX 621 will all fit. there is no plug. You need wired decoders to connect to the marked terminal on the factory circuit board. Installation is simple.
