Hey guys, I've some new videos about the SoundTraxx Tsunami EMD 567, the newest software and sound files for the QSI Titan EMD 567, and a basic overview of JMRI's Decoder Pro.

Feed back, questions, and comments are always welcome on my video upload pages.

I listened to the last one and can only say the Tsunami prime mover sounded much better/realistic.  The Q3 was either a bad file or overdrove the speaker too.

Having recently stood next to a running F unit, the QSI idle is MUCH more accurate. Revving sounds could be better, but as mentioned, exactly which 657 did they record from? Difference seems to be where the microphones were placed to record the sounds, Tsunami one sounds like it was mostly in the engine compartment, QSI sounds like it was recorded more near the stack.

Horns no contest, maybe someday Soundtraxx will figure out how to record a good horn.

Then there's always Loksound, which has better horns than Tsunami and better engines than QSI. And beats both on price to boot. Oh, and has better motor drive than either.
