I would prefer that all of my accessories like a grade crossing to be controlled via Loconet. I have NJ international No.1164 and No.1192 grossing gates. I want to be able to control them with my Digitrax DB150 and Locobuffer II USB with PC. There is also the Grade Crossing Pro. I want sound for my grade crossing too. I don't know if the Logic Rail Pro can be integrated with Loconet via my DS64. Which will be the best recommended combination? I make these posting with the hope that someone may benefit some knowledge from them and run into something useful. Is the old saying I may know something that you don't know.
My company, Logic Rail Technologies, produces the Grade Crossing Pro (GCP) which is the product you're referring to. There's no such thing as a "Logic Rail Pro!"
Anyway, the GCP is a standalone product which doesn't inherently have anything to do with LocoNet or any other bus or network interface.
What aspect of "control" are you trying to achieve? Basic On/Off, flash rate, gate speed? About the only thing you could external to the GCP is force it to trigger (i.e. start flashing the signals). The remaining functionality is "self-contained."

Sorry LOL, I meant to say Grade Crossing Pro. I only want to achieve the activation of lights gates and sound at the same time Speed and flash rate just makes things more unnecessarily complicated. Thanks for your help.
I have decided to use my Digitrax DS64 for my NJ international No.1164 and No.1192 grossing gates. I don't know if I can merge two crossing gates onto one input of the Digitrax DS64.

The CTA has allot of grade crossings, hard to imagine for a rapid transit line!!! The PATH train also used to have some couple bit only one remains today, which is not a public road. The No.5 train yards in the Bronx has flashing light grade crossings with no arms.
I have a Grade Crossing Pro on a double track crossing using 4 photocells on each track for detection. I can not fathom why I would want my Loconet or any part of my Digitrax system to talk to the GCP. I installed the GCP with NJ Int. lights and a bell sound module about 8 or 9 years ago and it has worked flawlessly ever since.

Driving it all properly from a BDL168 requires a bunch of extra relatively short detection sections and something to handle the logic. Making the crossing control independent of the track makes a lot more sense - the Logic Rail Grade Crossing Pro operates in a completely prototyical manner and does not tie in to the track power or track detection system.
