Does anybody know what the deal is regarding the Walthers Metroliners? As I recalled they were supposed to be released January. Did I miss out on the Jan reservation or do they keep delaying it. I purchased four coaches. For example the inventory webpage in Trainworld.com where I made my backorder says: Snack Bar Coach Standard DC Amtrak #863 (Phase I) (Taking Backorders Due Feb 2013) I called Walthers and they don't know when there comming and then I called Walthers and they don't know either.
Reserve and release are two totally different things. If you "reserved" them in January then it will be sometime later when they get "released". When...is anyone's guess.
When you paid for them online, alloboard, are you sure you didn't merely reserve them?
