Terryin Texas: Question about your Bachmann conversion to DCC
Posted by Don - UT on Saturday, December 29, 2012 3:23 PM

I have a Bachmann 2-6-2 Prairie.  It is very similar to your bachmann.  But I found when I got into it -- it  had a small board inside and it also connected up to the smoke generator and other things.  Any suggestions as to what to do?  I would like to retain the smoke generation function.

BTW used to live in Southlake TX and loved it.

Many thanks,

don

Don,

FYI: You can contact forum members directly via private messages known here as "conversations".  To start a conversation, all you need to do is to click on the member's profile name then click the red Start conversation link up at the top right of the page. The Start a conversation text box will then pop up:

  1. Type in what you want to say in the text box
  2. Fill out the Subject text box
  3. Click the Start conversation button at the bottom to send the message

If the person you are trying to contact responds, you will see a red Messages link under your profile area on the right side of the page.  Click Messages and it will take you to your messages page.  In order to open the message to read/respond to it, click on the title.

I've sent you this exact message privately.  Your gray messages link should now be red.
