Digitrax PS14 power jack- type?
Posted by owen w in california on Sunday, November 18, 2012 7:41 PM

Gents: I'm installing additional Digitrax UP5 Panels on the layout and want to add DC power.  DigiTrax sells the PS14 DC power supply (a type of wall wart), which has a special jack to slip into the UP5 to make the connection.

My layout is already wired with the appropriate DC power so all I really need is the correct Jack type to buy at my local electronics store, which will mate with the recepticle on the UP5.

Can anyone tell me the type?   Of course I can always take the UP5 there or spend the $30 for the PS14, but I'd prefer to walk in knowing what I need.

Thanks, Owen W

I cheated, I already have some, since I have a large enough power supply to run everything from. But Digitrax does list the plug size on the product info page for the PS14. The round off to 2mm on the UP5 information, but those type of plugs are all in odd decimal sizes - 1.5mm, 1.7mm, 2.1mm, 2.5mm.
