Yes I use it on a Digitrax system, it is a good app and works beautifully.

It doesn't work on all systems only those supporting JMRI, this exclude MRC DCC.

Of course you need a computer interface and a wireless router.

There's also an Android based throttle for droid phones and tablets. It's called "Engine driver". The  App is free.

I use the iPhone app, makes a handy wireless throttle without buying any extra wireless gear - I already have an access point in my house, and a computer connected to my layout, so it was a natural to use the throttle app.

i bought my first ipod just for this reason. was a cheap way to have a radio type controler. its a first gen ipod, but hay for 50 bucks it was alot cheaper than a radio throttle and panel. i too use it with my digitrax system with jmri and works great.

Works very well with my NCE Power House Pro, JMRI decoder pro, and iPod 3. I have both versions of the app and both work great.
