Does anybody know which manual has step by step instructions on how to program CV's on the Digitrax DT402D throttle? I am using a Digitrax DB150 with a PR3 connected to my PC via Loconet. I have Java Model Railroad Interface Software and RR and Co software. Or is there an easier and faster way that I can do it using JMRI of so where can I link to the JMRI instructions on how to do so. I have read the manual and the Digitrax decoder manual and they just gave general information on programming CV's. The manual did not give a step by step tutorial on how to change CV 29 or 8 as an example. Does anyone out there have any information on a step by step procedure?
What model of Digitrax command station are you using? What make and model decoder are you programming?
I run a Super Chief Extra model Digitrax system, and there is some decent data on programming in the command station manual in section 17, and the Digitrax Mobile Decoder manual is also helpful. Digitrax's technical support is good as well - ph#850-872-9890 - central time zone.

You have the simplest program environment, why not use it? JMRI Decoder Pro, PR3 and a program track. Not only is it simple and intuative to use, but you can save your settings for each loco.

I got it. Ever since I had a DCC system since 2004 I am finally able to program CV's with a throttle. It's not hard to do at all.
