Atlas TT and DCC

Greetings,

  I have the Atlas 'N' turntable with motor. In reading the past posts about wiring the TT for DCC I am a bit confused.

Q- Do you run feed wires from the buss to the electrical posts instead of say from a DC power pack?

or

Q- Do you run wires from a DC power pack to the electrical posts on the TT and run DCC feeders to a different location?

I take it that the 2 motor leads are on the side of the motor under the 'house'? That makes it much simpler for my electrical challenged mind.

It would be nice if the Atlas folks would update their documentation.
