I have a wireless Digitrax throttle that seems to be having issues. I got it about a month ago and it would work fine about 10 mintues and then not respond and the middle LED flashlight would start going crazy with the flashing. I figured it might be a bad battery. So finally yesterday I got a rechargeable 9V battery. Fresh off the charger the same issue with the throttle... works fine for about 10 minutes and then it goes crazy. Any thoughts? Should I call Digitrax??
The LED flashlight blinks to indicate loss of radio signal. Does your UR92 have a PS14 power supply plugged in to it? Do you have other 2.4GHz wireless devices in the room, like a Wifi router or cordless phone? It is near a microwave oven?
Digitrax has a couple of utilities you cna download to pick which 2.4GHz channel is used. I uses the UR92 as a scanner to find the most unused channel, however you need a PR3 or similar computer interface and a Windows PC.

ALso, what sort of rechargeable battery did you get? Typical '9V' rechargeables are really only 8.4 volts and so are already low to start with, they don;t last long in service. There are some betetr quality ones that charge to 9.6V, these last a lot longer betwene charges
And then there are the REALLY good ones, which also don;t drain their charge just sitting there unused. Same with AA batteries, I have a bunch of Duracell rechargables that after charging are dead in a week even if not used. I have since picked up Sanyo Enloop batteries and even after a year in a drawer still have plnety of life left.
Maha makes 9V rechargables that are the 9.6V type and are known to fit in the Digitrax throttles.

Those are the ones. If they don't also make those in AA/AAA, try the Enloop ones I mentioned for a remote control, they won't discharge just sitting there like most others will. It's been 2 years since I bought mine, 4 pair of AA plus the charger. My digital camera takes 2 AA. I've used 2 pair so far, the other 2 pais have been sitting in a drawer - they still have charge. I have yet ot actually use the charger that came with them.

Hello, I use it for many devices that you normally operates with batteries or operate only hasaccus. Even in my DT402 and DT402D I use 9V accus (Varta and No Name) without any problems. Even with very long driving sessions.
Hallo, ich verwende auch für viele Geräte, die man normal mit Batterien Betreibt oder Betreiben muss nur noch Accus. Selbst in meinem DT402 und DT402D verwende ich 9V Block Accus (Varta und No Name) ohne Irgend welche Problemen. Selbst bei sehr langen Fahrsessionen.
