Hey guys..im new to the forums.....
I am planning of getting the Walthers controller and adding 2 new traffic lights from walthers such as the 2300 ones...Im not sure how to connect these, i have an 19 Volt power supply , so i'll run that to my transformer , however, i hear the LED lights are 2 volts or so...i am guessing that the Walthers controller traffic light have there own resisotors built in.

Read the instructions on how to hook it up and it should also state the output voltage so you can adjust as needed with resistors for the LEDs.

The Walthers controller should have the required resistors built in for the Walthers signals. The controller is even labeled for the four different colors of wire; red, yellow, green, and black. How much simpler could it possibly get?
I have been looking at these traffic signals, too, but Walthers web site indicates that none of them are in stock and they don't know when they will be receiving them.
It seems that the signals have been in their catalog for two years now with none of them actually in stock.
The controller is made for the Walthers traffic signals. I have them, and they are cool. It even has the delayed green like the real ones. The Walthers traffic signals hook right up to the controller, with no resistors needed. Walthers may be out of them, but some LHS have them. Just have to look around, or try the online retailers.
I've got the controller and several of the traffic signals. They are very easy to hook up. No extra resistors are needed. It's just a lot of wires.They've been working flawlessly for years now.
