lambert switch machines
Posted by dowop62 on Monday, November 14, 2011 6:44 PM

I am lost again; can someone tell me or better yet post a photo on how to wire up a red colored  lambert switch machine. it has two yellow wires coming out of each end, and i do not know what wires to hook to what so i can use a atlas slide switch. I was given a bunch of these but no instructions

again I appreciate the help to a dumb builder

Larry, there is no dumb question if you don't know the answer. I would guess that each set of wires controls that end of the solenoid. Try putting 12 vdc to each set, momentarily, and see if it doesn't throw the machine (solenoid) to that direction. If that works, then you should be able to connect one wire from each end together as a common and the other wires to each of the terminals on the controller, giving you direction control. Hope this helps.I don't use that type anymore; all of mine are now Tortise powered.
