I have two DB 150 boosters. One is fine, the 2nd one does not have the power light on. I am attempting to connect them together along with the PM42 for power management of different districts. I can not seem to get the "power" back on the other DB 150 even when it is by itself. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it??Sad

Do you mean the unit power light will not come on at all, or Track Power will not light up?

If you have 2 DB150's and you are following the advice in your last thread, then one of them is the Command station. the other is the booster.  With them connected together correctly, with the Loconet cable joining them, make sure that both are powered correctly from their respective power supplies.   Then turning on and off the track power is just a case of connecting a DT400 throttle to the loconet and using it to turn on the track power,

 In booster mode the power light flashes, it does not come on. The booster one will tend to power up with the track power light on, to get track power on the command station one, hit Power and + on the throttle.

That is a possibility. I will try using only that power booster and throttle and see how that goes. Thanks. I will let you know about the results.Embarrassed It does sound like something I would have (could have done). Wife won't let me down in the train room tonight.Crying

Randy,

I basically changed power booster about 6 months ago when I could not get it to turn back on. Since I had another DP 150, I changed them out. Then, I built an new shelf under the layout that was easy to get to and that could accomidate all the electrical equipment. I decided that the original DP 150 would become the booster and I had the PM 42's to break up the layout into what will eventually be 8 power districts. Since I stink at electrical stuff, and work became a 6 out of 7 day week, I blew off the electrical component of the railroad. It was easy to get into the scenery. Now, I want to get the trains running again. So, here I go, trying to fix my previous mistakes.Bang Head

 For the 'stuck' one, try this before giving up on it.

Isolate it from the layout - disconnect the trak feed and also any Loconet cables.

If it's the one configured as a booster - remove the jumper so it's a command station again (this is why it needs to be isolated)

Plug your throttle in to one of the Loconet ports (has to be a DTxxx throttle, not a UT)

Set the switch on the front to Op mode (middle position)

On the throttle, hit Switch, dial in 39, and press C

Turn off the power (unplug the power supply) and put it all back the way it was (don;t foreget to reset the switch to the Run position) and see if that helps. OpSw 39 is a full reset, it could be that this DB150's brain got a bit scrambled.
