8 is enough. Maybe 12 if you'vebeen especially good.
Barnyard sounds, random industrial noises, train wreck sounds, and random city noises do NOT belong coming out of your locomotive. And if you want a grade crossing whistle, press the F2 key for 2 shorts, a long, and a short. I dunno, maybe real locos these days have a recorded sequence too. But I don't think so.

Wadda ya mean I'm old ? Just because I remember gasoline at 9 cents a gallon and those big coal burning steamers.
Victim of Microsoft pushign the IE9 update. I never let my computer automatically update, just let it download the stuff and notify me, And don't blindly click, I've been unchecking IE9 for a few weeks now. Yes I know I could hide it and it will never bug me again, but someday I will actually install it.
Trick is to turn on compatibility view for this site, then it works fine.
Shame on you guys. Re-read his post. It makes perfect sense.

Not to be picky Randy but don't you mean 2 longs, 1 short and 1 long? Probably dyslexic like me at times.
