I am looking to upgrade my Atlas Trainman DCC-Ready GP-38 by swapping my current Digitrax DCC decoder to a QSI Revolution (or may hold out for the Titan but not the main issue here). I am trying to determine if I am trading off ease of installation by keeping the factory Altas board installed and just plugging in a Revolution-U for the possibility of low speed performance by replacing everything with a Revolution-A? Does anyone have experience with a similar application?
