How  do I remove the electrical contacts from the dummy car in order to use it with dcc. the loco is fine. thnks for the help

How  do I remove the electrical contacts from the dummy car in order to use it with dcc. the loco is fine.

1. Are we talking n-scale?   2.  Why would one want to remove the contacts?  The more contacts there are the better the contact with the rails.  Hook them in parallel to the contacts from the non-dummy unit.
