Hi Group
I am wondering if anyone has heard of any new NCE products hitting the market this year. I recall hearing about a new throttle and a new box. Has anyone heard anything, they might upgrade the power cab to compete with the new Zephyr? I know the walthers site, it lists new products, but the same as last year.
Cheers,
CASO
Have you looked at NCE's web site? The only new product mentioned there is a Mini Panel.

Like has been said, go to the NCE site and get facts.
You might also join the Yahoo NCE Group which is very active and quite few discussions about products with some who are very involved with the NCE products.
I use the Power Cab and had it repaired by NCE free as I had sent in the warranty card when I purchased the set.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
Caso,
Despite the fact that Tony's Train Exchange has the new NCE CAB-06 throttle listed on their site for an August 2010 release, it will be released as soon as it gets thoroughly tested. When that is supposed to happen is anyone's guess.
There's also a new software upgrade EEPROM coming out for the Power Cab. From what I understand, the upgrade (V1.28 to V1.6) will increase the recall stack from 2 to 6 and additional cab addresses from 1 to 3; the same features when using the Power Cab with the SB3a. Maximum output should still remain 1.7A. There may be one more feature to the software upgrade but I don't recall what it is right off hand.
NCE is notorious for not posting future release dates for upcoming products on their web site. They also don't update their site very often either. (The last update was nearly 11 months ago. ) NCE is a small company so I guess they can only do so much.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
I think the NCE Power Cab already competes with the new Zephyr. But that's back to the NCE vs. Digitrax discussion.
