Hi All,
I have the MRC wireless system, I check track voltage and with nothing running its at 16 volts, is that what its suppose to be, also if i reverse the voltage meter wires on the track the voltage changes to 15 volts, should it be 16 volts either way?
Thanks!!!
This begs the question, "What kind of meter?" A true RMS meter should read the same both ways but most meters are not true RMS. This sounds like a slightly asymetrical signal.

I'd say make sure address 00 is set to speed step 0, but MRC doesn;t use address 00 to run an analog loco. Keep an eye on it, there shouldn't be a full volt difference If there's a convenient ground point, you might want to measure each rail ro ground and compare, those should be the same also.
