Hello Everyone,
My name is Drew and I am brand new to the world of DCC and to this forum! I am just getting back into Model Railroading. My two year old son's love of trains has rekindled my love for them as well. I take him to watch trains and decided that I wanted to model the trains that we see.
I recently began a layout in my new house and I want to use DCC on it. I have done my homework as best as I could and settled on the MRC prodigy advance2. I am slowly learning the "ins and outs" of DCC but still have a ways to go. I recently bought an Athearn Genesis SD75i and I want to wire it for DCC. I have seen the sound decoders from Soundtraxx and thought about going with them. Before I dive into this project, I just wanted to know if anybody has done one of these. I am experienced with electronics and soldering but I just really wanted a little guidance before I tried. I also have a few others that i want to tackle later!

I put a bass reflex speaker going up through the rad fans and a large round in the tank pointing down. I too replaced the OEM board with the soundtraxx.
