Good source for IDC connectors?
Posted by farrellaa on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 9:56 PM

I am looking for a good inexpensive source for suitcase or IDC connectors. I bought some last year but don't remember where I got them. I  know Mircro Mark has them but at $7.95 plus shipping for 25 is a bit high. I need about 50 more for 14GA buss to 20-22 Ga feeder. Thanks,

Harbor Freight had a pack of 50 for $3.99 when I bought mine.

Being old is when you didn't loose it, it's that you just can't remember where you put it.

They are at Home Depot.  I picked mine up there.

You need to go to an electrical supply warehouse (check your local Yellow Pages...or online).

At my club a couple years ago, we were getting 3M Scotch-Loks in boxes of 100 for around $7 or $8 per box, so the cost per IDC was around 7 cents ea.  And I've not seen them anywhere else for cheaper than that.  We must have purchased at least 3000 IDC's in that way.

I  found some at an online supplier for $8.50 per 50 pcs and ordered them today. Didn't want to wait too long as I need them this week. Thanks for all the advice.
